I was referring to the car readjusting after unplugging it...
So it should not need to have the "update" since many never had it done and they are fine.

yup.. im one of those people,... never got the "update" bs for 100 bucks,.. call me cheap but the car runs great so why get it?,.. but i always wonder if i would get better MPG with the flash .. even if it was like 1mpg.. but who cares/knows...
