00 Max wont stay started - all advice wanted
00 max with 180,000 miles. Car has been acting crazy for over a month. The car will start, will stay crunk as long as you're giving it a little gas. Take your foot of the gas, and it cuts off. The car died on the freeway, i had to get it towed home. For the last month, the car shut down on me a couple times. After trying to crank it for a minute or so, it would turn over and run fine. One time it stopped at a red light, would only stay on when giving it some gas. I was a block from work, so i drove it to work with one foot on the gas and brake, and after sitting up for a couple of hours, it started and drove fine. 2 days before it died, i started the car and it was running rough, missing and stuttering. The ses light finally came on, i had it scanned and got a 1320 and 301 code. Bad coil and misfire on cylinder one, right. 2 days later, like i said, the car died on the freeway. I have replaced all spark plugs and the 1st cylinder coil. Heck, in fact i only have 1 coil that i havent replaced (cylinder 4) and i've swapped them around so i dont think its a coil problem. Any advice is welcome. Remember, the car starts, will run as long as you're giving it a little gas. Will not idle without giving it gas... Any suggestions...... Maf sensor was replaced once at about 80,000 miles. I had already replaced 2 coils, when this happened i replaced 3 more, will probably get the last one off ebay later this week... PLEASE HELP....

i had the car towed to the stealership today - diagnosis was a bad iacv and possibly the maf. Also said that it was possible that the ecm may have been burned out, but they wouldn't know until they replaced the other stuff. $945 price tag to get fixed, and that doesn't include the ecm if it was bad.. I just had the car towed back home... I'll try to fix it myself..
