Drivers side window - does not open
So I took off the door, removed the connections and reconnected. All windows open except the drivers side window. When I try to open it I hear a clicking noise from the drivers side control unit.
Question - is there any easy way to figure out if it is the motor or the control unit/electric connection?
Thanks

no..
the regulator may also be binding. try pressing the reset switch and relearning the window stops, it may be something as simple as that. dont go replacing crap just because...
its pretty much obvious youre gettnig power to the motor, otherwise the internal relays wouldnt be clicking, i wouldnt even bother with that step of checking power.

OK- so I tried the reset switch and that worked for a day it was operating fine. It was smooth, as good as new. Then it stopped working again and the reset doesn't work. So I am to assume it is the switch or the connection?
