Not the best, someone on here has a step by step write up:
Found one: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/246872/7 Although I cut the base of mine to more of a wedge. Hope it helps.

Here are a couple shots-
You can get it from the dealer, ask for the one from the touring package-the standard pedal is all black. I cut mine down to about a 1/2 inch thick and attached with Gorilla Glue, as I didn't want to drill holes.

Well you answered my question as to what they look like in an auto. Nice

I have a pretty good idea on how I am going to install it, but could someone post a link which was mentioned earlier just to see how other did it. Thank you very much to everyone for their participation in this thread.

To those who actually screwed in the pedal instead of using the double sided tape, how many screws did you use since the two on top are located a little bit too high where there is no support from the back.

another option is the AutoVation pedals - which are specifically made for the maxima (correct curveature and size).
Having used both these and driven maximas with the AE, i prefer the autovation pedals - the clutch and brake have better grip, especially with wet shoes, than the AEs, and the gas pedal shape allows easier heel-toe.
similar in looks to the AE pedals, and you can get them in different finishes (polished, brushed, machined etc...)
check out some of the designs...pretty cool

here are mine, which I've really abused. I got the competition design (with no rubber inserts) for better pedal feel, but they also make them with rubber inserts similar to the AE pedals.
