key fob power window mod???

Cant remember if this was a mod with my Jetta or my '96 Max, but is it possible to push and hold the "unlock" button on the remote and make the windows go down on a 2000 Maxima? Cant find anything on this when I search the threads.

Thanks

I know that holding the unlock button down on my remote for my 03 Max will roll down the windows, but I am not sure on the 00.

I think they skipped the 00 and 01 models. 5.5's have them though.

Not using the factory settings. You may be able to with an aftermarket alarm system or something. I would prefer the up feature over the down feature, personally... That way I could roll my windows up in case of rain from my office instead of getting soaked running out and rolling them up the half inch I left them down.

Not just Nissan. My last car was a Mitsu Diamante LS, and did the exact same thing, with no "up" option.

It's cool and all, but I don't even get the practical purpose of it, as an "up" will be ten times more practical. My friend had this feature in his alarm on his old Integra. He can leave the windows down getting out, and as soon as the alarm came on, the windows rolled up.

You can use your key on the driver's door lock. That is easy enough.
