Why not read the thread, the information from the manual is in there.

What does 'barely start the car' mean, exactly?

I did read the thread and it talks about when you disconnect the battery, it causes your sunroof not work completely (like it don't work)and you have to activate it(shows you in the owner manual). "Bearly start the car" means when i turn the ignition is on to turn the car on. Its not just in the morning nor the first time of the day. Its anytime it can happen.

Its a 2000 se btw.
The inside of the headlights shouldn't be dirty because the headlights are sealed. However, the outside of the headlights tend to become yellow and scratched up over time. here's a thread on how to clean your headlights.

Not planning on going HID but what are the the best Halogen bulbs for this car in your opinion. Also where can I find them.

Fog Lights.
I want the JDM yellow fogs. Will these work?

I went from the stock 200 headlight bulbs to the 2k3 HID's but I do have some Sylvania Ultra foglight bulbs and I like them. Here's a link to their page. You can get them at Autozone.http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...ar/default.htm

I don't know about those fogs.... This might help you though. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=449650

I have clanking noise coming from the right rear wheel side, especially when i run on bumps. It sounds like something is loose. But when I took a glimpse underneath the car, it seems like everything intact. Could it be the exhaust or muffler?

yes, actually it happens a lot with aftermarket exhaust. try putting hose clamps on the rubber hangers and see if it makes a difference.

I have a 2000 Maxima Automatic with 54K miles on it.
I have had a coil that go bad on me a week ago and I was getting constant misfire with the usual TCS/SES/SLIP indicators on. About three days ago the new coil arrived but the ABS light suddenly went on. I replaced the coil and cleared the codes for the OBD and SES and SLIP went away. However, the ABS and TCS OFF lights are still on. I reset the OBD again and then removed the battery link and its still there. Anybody got any clues? I searched all over the place for TCS + ABS but haven't found anything conclusive. Basically, the TCS and ABS lights don't light until about two seconds after the car is started.

Is it an ABS sensor failure? Or alternator Failure? Or do I need to flush my break fluid? Help? Anybody seen this before?

Yeah, i know a lot of people have said it's easier to replace all of them instead of messing around with trying to figure out which one is bad

I think my car is trying to mess with my head. Here's the series of events:

Day 0: SES light comes on, I get code p1320 and misfire in cylinder 6. Tested resistance of coil: 3.3M ohms #Bad
I order new coil.
Day 1: SLIP and TCSOFF lights come on, some occasional shaking. #EXPECTED
Day 3: ABS Light turns constant #WTF Never Seen This Before, stops driving car and wait for coil

Today part 1: Coil Arrives/Installed, Reset OBD, ABS + TCS Still On #ERR
Today part 2: Disconnect Batt and ABS TCS SES SLIP All ON #!!!!
Today part 2 cont: OBD 1320 No Cylinder Misfire Code #???
Today Part 3: Reset OBD, ABS and TCS. Drives Around Block to test ABS, no avail, can't stomp on break hard enough to lock wheels cause traction too good.
Today Part 4: Confused and Drives 20 Miles (ABS and TCS light turns off when stopped and on when moving but turns off randomly) #ABS sensor Problem probably
Today Part 4 cont: Restart engine and TCS + ABS is GONE!! #YAY
Today Part 4 cont: But Brake + Battery Light Turns ON #QWE@#%#%#A

Today Part 8: Posting this on forum to see if ne1 else knows wtf is going on. I swear my car is out to f*$% me.

Noticed this morning while warming the car up, my A&B trip miles were reset to 0.0 mi. I know it was at about 530 mi prior as I was keeping count of how many miles after I changed my IACV. Clock, and radio presets were normal. Any ideas what the hell happened?

Thats not such a bad idea, many people have done it. Usually with H&R springs. They lower the front 1.4 (give or take)

Is it a good idea to pay $400 to get the 90,000 mile scheduled service done to my car at All Tune & Lube??? Cause it seems a bit much to me; they are only changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, and drain and fill the radiator. The rest i think they are inspecting, well the guy there said that he was going to do the BG44k thing to my car thru the brake booster hose (i already did the seafoam thing to the gas tank and the engine crankcase) so is this amount too much or can i do it on my own?

A quick trip the the How To Stickys will get you where you need to be in the comfort of your own front yard for less than half that price.

i have a nooooobie question: the insulation on the hood, is it for sound or heat? ive wanted to remove it for a long time for weight reasons but im afraid the hood could get warped from the heat. i felt it one time and there was a considerable difference in temp between the temp on the surface of the insulation and the surface of the inner hood. any thoughts?

You'd have to get pretty hot to warp the hood, i.e. you wont warp it.

you realize you could get the same weight reduction by removing a can of coke from the cup holder?
