Lets hear your ticket story
Sorry this got kind of long but, got another one a few nights ago, just wondering how many tickets either speeding or anything else you got in your maxima , deserved or mistaken- im getting quite a few! and also what happened if it was reduced or dropped or what you did about it, lets hear it i'll start
got the car may of 05
9/05 60 in 45 dropped
02/06 clocked 88 in 65 ticket was 75 in 65- nice cop, reduced to parking on the pavement
03/06 56 in 45 reduced to parking on pavement, cop was county sheriff ended up being this girl i know's b/f and helped me out
03/06 69 in 55 reduced to 2 pt. traffic light violation
06/06 93 in 65, driving really upset followed by trooper after he saw me talking on the phone then blew through a stop sign off the highway, had no idea he was behind me, i told him what happened and he didnt write me for the sign or cell phone
it depends on who pulls you over, that second one i was just cruising down the northway on a sunny day, he got me with laser at 81 on a straight section of the highway then he said i accelerated to 88 and that was when i noticed he was behind me- he was nice about it, wrote it for 75 in 65 instead of 88 in 65, walked out on the highway to tell me it when it was safe to go and wrote on the deposition, "defendant wasnt aware of speed when i approached but pulled quickly safely and well out of roadway"

havent gotten nearly as much as you, but i got a speeding ticket goin 80 in a 35 street racing of course. 6 points and 350 dollars. went to court and cop never showed up and got dropped. so happy.

clocked doing 132 in a 55... cop thought his gun was wrong and i admited to 117 so he wrote me down to 94 in a 55. then i spent some money on a crooked lawyer who bribed the judge. i guess i'm $1200 smarter now

on the complete idiot part. you, fast and furious people, do not realize that one day a kid is gonna accidentally jump out in front of you from behind a parked car. Now tell me, WTF are you doofuses going to do? And no, your (16-piston Gran Turismo 18" imported from Japan overnight) brake kit will not help anyone...

5 speeding tickets... god... even my cat learned that she had to take a crap in the litter after i showed it to her twice...

I find this kinda expected seeing how this forum is mostly about doing performance mods but com'on how the hell do you get 5 speeding tickets in 9 MONTHS?!?

this my only speeding ticket was BS- just replaced clutch, somehow speedometer broke as i hit highway speed, returning home on labor day so no one is on the road. get clocked 88 in a 55. cop pulls me over and gives me a ticket. i explained what happended and hand him my pba card with my license. throws the pba card back at me and says i only asked for a license. then returns with glass meter. hit me with 3 tickets, speeding, tint, operating vehicel w/ broken spedo. ended up costing almost a g because of crappy ny state laws of speeding. they charge you a fine, surcharge, then yearly fine for three years. complete BS when i didnt know i was speeding as i was the onyl one on the road.

... heres a tip dont speed when you are by yourself... think of it as fish in a school and sharks... police are the sharks you are a fish so if you are gonna speed be smart about it and be in a group of traffic, they shouldnt pull you over if you are going w/ the flow of traffic though.
Man what happend to you max723 was fc*k'ed up, but compares nothing to what happend to me and my friend, the cop was trying to scare us i think, it happend 2 weeks ago and the cop pulls us over FOR NOTHING i think we were like 1mph over, we were on a country backroad at around 11 oclock, he asks for friends liscence...etc, my friend asks why we were pulled over and the cop just snaps and he figures out that he has pulled my friend over before in his other car. The cop asks my friend to step out of the car and me too WTF?! Then he starts questioning us n crap like that n he asks to call our parents so we are like whatever go ahead... the idiot cop cant dial the phone number so my friend offers to dial the number for him, cop takes that as an insult (WTF), and puts my friend in cuffs (WTF!!), well teh cop gets in touch w/ my friends parents n he says he pulled us over and asks where we should be (and we are). Another cop comes as his "backup" to search the vehicle cuz we let them. they waist a whole 1:30 over NOTHING and give us lots of threats and longgg lecture and let us go. Personally after that i hate that stupid sherriff, everynow and then i see his car on my way to that friends house.

i feel you but better get used to it in some areas. i would say on a monthly basis would get pulled over (if not me im in the car) and sometimes searched for no reason at all on the trunk while other officers search the car. last time the cop said we were speeding but he decided to let us go with a warning after a half hour search because he didnt find anyhting- what a surprise. you dont have to let them search if they have a reason to suspect anything they can just search. putting your friend in cuffs is pretty messed up but at least you guys didnt get arrested for some bs. the best thing to do is just say yes sir to the cop and co operate or else they can give you a lot of ****.
