Possible front rotor problem...?

I went to a shop yesterday to get my front wheels balanced again and while the car was up on the lift i was looking at my front stillen drilled rotors. I noticed that the right one was nice and tight meaning you had no play you couldnt really move it. Then i went to the other side and noticed that the left one had play in it and i could move it out a lil bit. I dunno what it was maybe that is normal and supposed to be like that? Just thought id ask.

No no while the wheels were off and they were doing the balancing I was checking them out with the wheels off. I saw the left one had some movement in them.

^ Yup, the rotors are held tight by the wheels... Your other rotor is probably rusted on a bit which is why it wouldn't move.

perfectly normal! Newlovei30 is exactly right! Rotors are held on tight by the wheels!

When I was bleeding the brakes today, my drvr side front had some play in it. I could see the stud/rotor hole area with some movement.(maybe 1/16th inch)

The passenger side has no movement.

Glade it was nothing.
