And yes......I did already check kbb.com and there's a value of $10.5-$11.2. But I'm thinking how much to ask for one with mods and full stereo.

Look like someone went all gestapo on your F/S thread.

You got owned by your thread title. Try this: "F/S '00 SE, auto, with only 38K miles."

Unless you're selling it to an enthusiast and/or someone on the .org you may have to lower your price for the mods. I'd part it out, especially the system.

I only realized it after I started thinking, "Why did my thread get closed?" Then I re-read the tilte and was like, "Oh......okay." My bad. Anyways, the car is not for sale just yet. I was just thinking to try and get some idea of what I should ask. I was thinking about $13000 as is, or $12,000 without the custom stereo (with the factory stuff re-installed.) Fair? Or have I lost my damn mind?

Remember you live in HI not too many people here like max, cuz they drive accords and camrys.....not to mention your is modded so any likely hood that an old man/woman would buy your car is slim to none.

take the mods off, and sell it for edmunds and kbb fair value. i think that non-tuners would give you much less for a modded car. if i was looking for a used car, i would skip anything modded in fear that it was abused by someone.

Yup, I hear you. I'd prefer to sell it as is, just to save myself the time of converting everything back to stock. I may just post it later on Island Previews to see if anybody is interested. Maybe $12500 obo as is???

I think 12.5$ is fair since there's about $4k worth of performance and stereo parts. Not to mention the condition and mileage. By the way, I went down to a car dealership yesterday...........I hate those guys there. They all think that just because you modify your car, that it's worthless and that it has been abused. Basically they asked if I was going to being financing out right or doing a trade in. I told them I was probably going to sell my Max outside since it was modified. Immediately the guy is like," Oh yeah, we don't take fixed up cars in as trades anyway, since you never know the true condition of the car and that there's always stuff wrong with them." I was like," well, my car has 38K miles, is very clean in and out, runs perfectly, changed with Royal purple synthetic oil every 3k, and adult owned and taken care of...........so F_CK you very much........I'll take my business else where. It's funny too, 'cuz i asked him if modifying a WRX's suspension or exhaust would void any warranties. He's like," Of course, anything you change on the car (if not a OEM Subaru part), would void your warranty." I asked him why? Wouldn't you have to prove that the part in question is what caused the failure of the item? He's like, "No, it just does." IGNORANT!
