HELP alternator replacement
I'm trying to replace my alternator and i've been following these directions http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/501
I'm stuck on the first step on that page where it says, "Not shown: Remove the lower alternator bolt and nut. It is located directly opposite to the smaller bolt on the top of the alternator." This bolt they are referring to is on the bottom side of the alternator right? I've been trying to use open end wrenches and socket wrenches to get at it but the opening is just too small. For those of you that replaced your alternator yourself how did you take off this bolt? Am I missing something because even if I got to this bolt with some sort of wrench there is no leverage through the hole I'm going through.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm having trouble understanding where you got stuck. Try this and if you still have questions let me know:

I think you are talking about the long bolt at the bottom of the alternator that is accessed from the back. I used a ratchet with a socket and there is enough room for it...
