so ive been looking at the 300zx brake upgrade writeups and i still have a few questions.
1) why does the kit matt93se offers look so much different than the kit the jeff92se offers?
2) are cobra rotors really just rotors from a cobra mustang?
3) are cobra rotors the exact same besides the diameter(ie: is the spacing over the hub, between the actual rotor and where the wheel sits the same?)
4) i checked on my friends 300zx and i only need a 10mm spacer to fit. will it be the same if i use the cobra rotors or 6th gen rotors?
5) if i use the same wheels all year should i go for it? i found the calipers for 100 for all four.
so ive been looking at the 300zx brake upgrade writeups and i still have a few questions.

Jeffs kit uses Cobra rotors. The Cobra rotors are a bit larger.
2) are cobra rotors really just rotors from a cobra mustang? Yes, they are.
3) are cobra rotors the exact same besides the diameter(ie: is the spacing over the hub, between the actual rotor and where the wheel sits the same?) No, you need the ring inserts to fill the gap around the hub.
4) i checked on my friends 300zx and i only need a 10mm spacer to fit. will it be the same if i use the cobra rotors or 6th gen rotors? That depends on your wheel design. When using the BBK's the relocation bracket moves the caliper out m ore. If you wheels spokes go out the same distance from the center to the outer then yes. If the spoke design flares inwoard then no. It all depends on the wheels.
5) if i use the same wheels all year should i go for it? i found the calipers for 100 for all four Sure, even if you had to step down, its not to hard to go back to stock if you had to.

Cobra rotors can be found anywhere OEM or aftermarket rotors can be purchased. I recommend Automax in the Group Deal forum.
Not only will you need the rings to center the rotor, you will also need the brackets that relocate the 300z caliper outward to accomodate the larger 13" rotor.
I sell both for $90 shipped. You will also need a few extra bolts/nuts in the same strength grade as the rest of the brake hardware. Along with new brake lines. Matt93se sells what you need for a good price
That's what I figured. What other options do I have to upgrade my brakes with 5.5 gen 17's or 6th gen 18's (What I plan on getting in the near future). 6th gen brakes? ? Better rotors and pads? My rotors are warped and I've heard how had the stock brakes suck, So when I get around to fixing them I would like to upgrade. Could I upgrade to Z32 calipers with a smaller rotor without having clearance issues with the wheels I listed above?

You should pick up a set of 350Z/G35 wheels, those will clear, but it doesnt really matter what size rotor you use, 300zx calipers are really wide so it takes a lot of clearance to fit them.
The Z and G wheels are staggered though aren't they? I like being able to rotate my tires. I think staggered wheels on a FWD gay is kinda worhtless. I dunno what other options I would have though

uhhh, get 4 front from a z or g, then they wont be staggered.
I have the G35 18's w/ 300zx calipers on some smaller than stock 5.5 gen rotors. I just bought some 6th gen rotors from the zone Will i need a bracket or no?

it isn't 100% necessary to buy brackets for the brakes to fit. They bolt up to the stock position, but you will need to machine the rotors to a smaller diameter. I know someone who has done this and it works fine. Personally I would only do this with some wheels as the rotor diameter is smaller than stock and looks odd if the wheels are too big or too much space between the spokes. But the added braking power seems to be worth it.
