Are 2k-2k1 headlights DOT or E-code type?

I've been looking at HID pictures over at HIDplanet.com at the forums, and noticed that E-code headlights have a sharp slant at the cut off line, slanting up towards the right. As Im driving at night, I noticed the same thing, a very sharp and slant in my headlight beams, same as E-code headlights. When I drive up next to various different cars, I notice theirs are more circular, or definition to them as in sharp angles or anything like that. So are they E-code type headlights or DOT? I know that E-code are better headlights in general, because of the slant which helps out a lot in road signs.
