I have D2's and I like them, you can get different spring rates so you can better decide your ride quality.

they are cheaper than the A1's and more adjustable. Common problems is that they tend to make noise after a while and no one can find a diffinative reason...

Jic's freaking rock. i know i only have 5 levels of adjstment, but its easier to keep track of how things are set, and theres a noticable difference between each level, i dont need more, i adjust all the time, its just how i am. also they come all together, just take ur old stuff out an pop in the new ones, just watch out for the rear strut bolts, ive hera lots of people have problems with that ne, i stripped one and that sucked. my ride quality is amazing, and i dont always run it on the soft settings.

I am selling my JIC-FLT-A2's here

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=437412

A2's are 15 way adjustable and on the lowest setting they are "not bad" as far as ride is concerned, but it is still a performance suspension, I never hated the ride. they are a complete swap, no additional parts necessary.

another thing you want to note is,

JICs both FLT A1 & A2 come as a complete unit....Ksports/D2 coilovers you must re-use your rear stock hats...this is all in reference to 2000+ maximas....

I'm not sure about TEIN SS coilovers...do you have to re-use your stock hats?

JIC FLTA2s rock, I have my car slammed really hard and settings are at 7 in the front and 6 in the rear and ride is verrrry stiff. If you leave em on 1/1 ride is a bit stiffer than stock, but once ya crank them up ride changes ALOT. My car rides stiffer than any EVO, and people complain bout how stiff they are.

Do you get any noise from the A2's?

What spring rate do they come with? The D2's come with 9/7 and I am thinking of switching to 8/6 because these are pretty stiff, no matter if I set it to full soft or not... it is stiff.

yeah my front pilow ball mounts are worn and clunk at times when driven over bumps slower- expanssion joints etc. I also added some rubber on the spring hats to prevent any clunking.

I am not sure what rate mine are, I got them used here on the .org (upgraded from Koni/GC setup) but I am sending my rear shocks to get revalved for 20 bux each and wanna upgrade my rear springs to something stiffer- I want the rear to be stiffer than the front- seems to work good on Sentras, and I feel the rear is too soft to my liking.

i huess to find out which are the best for u, u have to knwo why u wnat them.

if u want them just for ride quality=coilovers arent really for u

if u want to be really low=any one of the above noted will be fine

full swap in, if ur doing the work urslef its not that much more work to reuse the tophats=but the jics are direct swaps.

quality=mine have been perfect besides a lil squish noise over big bumps, but i know blackbird had a lil trouble with his, altho he got hem used.

aomehting ive noticed that most people forgot was the edfc for the teins, i think thats a really cool feature, i wish my jics had soemthing like that.
hmmm. blackbird wanna try and make something to control our jics from inside,it shouldnt be that hard.and u seem to knwo everything car related

Hows my CD changer doing for my Q45 :P ?

Since adjustments on my FLTA2s are on the bottom vs top I don't think installing little motors to control the adjustment rate would be totally out of the question- I have bout 2" of room between the **** and the axles in the front. I belive TEIN and JIC A1s have the adjustments on top vs on bottom like the A2s. A2s are inverted (meaning upside down basically), and I dont know everything car related- yet, but thanx for the comment sugga.

Guy I always speak with races a 350Z , but his name has escaped my mind- I think it might be Jay. I am going to get new springs for the rears, new front upper pillow ball mounts, and rear shocks recharged/revalved. I need to get my Q45 rolln before I do anything on the Max.
