Alternator belt ?

Alternator belt ?
Org,
Winter coming up and I won't need my AC. I was wondering if anyone knows a size belt that would fit the Alternator and other paths minus the compressor. Or has anyone done this?
Please let me know belt size and where I can get it if it has been done.

I would keep the A/C hooked up if I were you as your defrost cycle often uses the A/C on milder days to keep your windows from fogging up. Also, and here's the most important part, your A/C needs to cycle every once in a while to distribute oil through the system which is mixed with the refrigerant in order to lubricate the compressor's shaft seal or it will dry out and you will end up replacing your compressor and refrigerant sooner than you'd like. Your horsepower loss will be minimal anyway when not using your A/C so it's not worth the risk. Use the money saved on not replacing your compressor and refrigerant early on other performance mods, you'll be further ahead in the long run.

so bumping this old topic back up to the top of the stack...
i had my alternator/compressor belt split over the weekend, and when i put the new belt on, the car wouldn't turn over. after a bunch of screwing around with it, i discovered the the pulley for the ac compressor was frozen, and thus preventing the alternator or the crankshaft pulley from turning.
i don't really have the time or the motivation to replace the Ac compressor, nor the money to take it to someone to have it done, so is there anyone who knows how long of a belt I can use to just bypass the compressor for now?
