definately isnt aero dynamic..
and makes the front too boxy
the only thing that would make that body kit look good imo is a phat intercooler.. not the mesh grill

I just can't get into super low front kits. I guess it is because my car is a daily driver.

nice but the bumper is like an inch of the floor..

it will look pretty bad if you actually drive like that..

think about speed bumps.. it would take the whole bumper off lol

If you can put in air springs to raise and lower the car I woud like to better. It looks cool but is not pratical because of how low the car is to the ground. The one thing I don't like is the grill. It reminds me of my screen door. I'd like to see something else there. Now you need Gullwing doors and you'll be set. Like the rims. Can u post a better pic.

I don't like full bumper replacements because they never look right. I like the lips (like stillen) that you can add to the existing bumper for a better look.

i have that same setup and i'm dropped on tein h-techs. that gives me about 2" of ground clearance. i do scrape, but not very often and usually because i'm driving without watching the road.

and for those of you that remember my car with the two-tone Maaco disaster paint job....the whole car has been repainted, side skirts went on, the whole kit was refit and bracketed and i redid my entire exhaust. pics to come shortly....

That kit is hideous. It's too tacky and ghetto.
A full bumper replacement could look good, too bad no one makes a nice one.

kit looks like its hanging.. leaves a big gas between the hood and grill. Snow plower ready for action. I don't see why anyone would go with a whole different bumper when the lip is all you need, and the car looks much cleaner.

my opinion, but agree with the guys here, get what you like.. it doesn't matter what we think.. but since you asked, i advised!

That body kit is waiting for a disaster to happend, I mean the car look nice but the big mouth facia is not my style. The body kit would scrape and be destroy on the first day the car is ride. I would go for redline kit.

keep in mind folks...that car up there has air ride suspension.so the scrapping is due to the drop of the car. i'm not worried about that, even though i live in pothole city. i travel in long island, good road conditions. i'm only concerned about the flow of these 2 front bumpers. i want it to flow right, not like the sarona or razor kit. but thanks for your comments, but please if u have more, continue.
i might add, that this site tomato-racing.com sell the abs plastic maxtunning lip for 100.00 with shipping...that was the second option.

I have this kit. Its the octane. THe fitiment kinda sux and the urethane front sucked i hit a tiny a$$ pooch and ripped the front in half. Other thent he fitiment issue i liked it i still have the sudes and rear with the sarona front and i like it like that. If you want i can show u pics u can check www.cardomain.com/id/twllin and see what the whole kit looked like on a sterling mist

i know most of you guys like the lip thing...no doubt, me too..BUT IF THAT WASN'T AN OPTION, would it be octane kit or the redline max kit. i'm very differnet from yall orgers here. i like chrome and not a big fan for speed (i live in ny, good luck speedin n not gettin caught). i like to profile in style....see while you guys blow by doin 80mph...i'm doin 15 mph or slower so the ladies can hop in. alirght, that was a pimp my ride moment...but i'm more into looks.

I think it looks aight except for the low clearence but tha ain't a problem cuz u got bags. I personally would get a lip but thas jus me.

The bottom line is: this bumper (along with the other fiberglass maxima kits) is tacky and tasteless. Take a good look at it and ask yourself if it really looks "nice." It doesn't. Maybe that's just the type of crowd these are catered to.
Nothing wrong with blingin' or just doing cosmetic stuff, but it should enhance the looks of the car, not make it ugly.

The car in the picture is mine. I receive nothing but compliments everywhere i go. Everywhere except this forum that is. There are always gonna be haters. Get whatever kit u want. Theres no point in asking for an opinion on this forum. Everyone's gonna tell u the same thing, "get the Stillen kit." You just have to live with the fact that not everyones gonna like what u choose.
Why dont u post some pics of your car $tillenmax since u have such strong opinions about other people's cars....

if you do get this i would recommend the octane sides also... which will also flow well with the rear as the sarona sides do.

I think its way too much. I like the stillens that go on the original bumper. But the bumper replacements are too squarish and I don't feel like it flows with the rest of the car. But, each to their own.

Ok here's Shurik's Import opinion.

The kit you already have is alright, but the redline kit would look much better I think.
I see that the front kit you already have flows perfect with the side skirts, and I'm not sure that the Redline kit would flow as perfect as the one you got.
But once again the Redline kit looks much better I think.
And by the way is that even your Car???????

a little too much for my tastes....i like the stillen kits that i've seen, but my favorite is still the AE kit. i'm also a bit biased, but I like the subtle things that set a car off.

i know that this is off topic from the rest of the thread but i was wondering if everyone had their lips put on professionally or by themselves.. i was looking into getting either the AE kit, untill i realized that they are way overpriced from what i have noticed from called the stealerships, or a stillen style lip (front rear and sides).. i kno that these have to b painted but i was wondering how is the best way to install them to save the most money.. the knockoff lips are much cheaper and even tho they are not of the highest quality, im lookin to save a little money here... i mean, i am 17 and i am paying off my own 01 maxima along with insurance... sorry for telling my life story but id like to know how others got their parts installed..
