can anybody give any insight on how a 5.5 gen will sound with an intake, cattman headers, and a magnaflow muffler with a stock b-pipe?

i want it to be quiet during cruising and idle, but sound nice when i open it up.. i figure leaving the b-pipe stock will keep the noise down.. does anybody have close to that setup?

If you keep the main cat under there, it will be quiet. mine was hardly noticeable until I removed the cat. Why not keep the OEM muffler?

because i want a little more of an aggressive tone to the exhaust... but not loud, you know? my 6th gen friend has a pair of magnaflow mufflers on his car with the rest of the exhaust stock, and i love the way it sounds.. i just don't want the headers to make the exhaust extremely loud with that muffler.. do you think they will? everything else besides the headers and muffler will remain stock

With headers, the tone changes actually. I would concentrate on the headers and see how it sounds. Then, take it from there (after you install headers).

Are you saying you'd install headers before messing with anything else? How would headers through oem exhaust sound?

Its hard to tell. Cranking it in that car garage makes it sound like its bouncing around in a echo chamber. Post a outside vid and start the car on the vid as well.

Haha labeling that inside vid short is kinda understating its shortness haha Sounds pretty good though man, I prefer all lows but you've got a very angry sounding car there, the tip looks good too.

for some reason i love 350 Z sound. I've been looking for a exhaust system that would make it sound like it and give me power output more then the 350 Z.
