i had trouble removing mine to get the one on the passenger side i took the tube for the washer fluid off and that made it easier and on the drivers side i had to loosen the bolts on the battery and move it to the side a little... you have to do a little pulling too but they do come out pretty easy...

remove the headlight? you should be able to reach it, ive replaced mine with blue bulbs before, but you need someone with skinny fingers to get to it. take your time too, ive dropped the bulbs in the engine bay before and it sucks haha

Yeah, Nissan really could have left a little more room behind there. The weird angle also doesn't help.

Anyway, if you just squeeze your hand in there and ignore the pain of the sharp metal digging into your skin, you should be able to change it. It's definitely a b*tch, but it's doable. If you really can't fit your hand in there or find somebody else who can, then move the battery temporarily or something. The passenger side should be a little easier.

sorry, i was thinking of the turn signal light. i forgot which one was on top for a second. but in any case, removing your headlight would work. you don't need to pull it out all the way just a little bit to give yourself more room to work in.

It might be easier for those of you without DataDots. But not for me...
