I believe the grille is attached to the front fascia as one unit on our 5th gens. I don't think it's removable.

Perhaps you could telephone and ask for a picture. They may be willing to take one in an effort to drum up Maxima business.

I have actually been to this place and there is a guy that works there that has a 5th gen Max with the grill for the top and bottom opening. I think the gill for the bottom is 79.99 and the top is 129.99. It is pretty sexy when you put the both of them together. This is next on my itenerary! Ask for Gus at ext. 106.

i just got off the phone with street scene the makers of the grille... they said that they arent ready yet... they will be ready in prob 3 months... they will be doing the top and bottom openings. They do not have any pictures yet because they arent made yet. He said he isnt sure how they are going to make them because I asked him about the grill being attached to the bumper so he said either they will just cut out the original or maybe they will make a whole bumper replacement. He isnt sure yet about that... I cant wait to see what it looks like...

If it's too much trouble to detach the grille from the bumper I'm not even going to bother.

Hey psing23, call back and speak to someone who is more knowledgeable about their products. The guy at the store already has it on his 5th gen. and the grill acutally snaps over the pre-existing grill.

i called the store first and spoke to some guy that said that they have them but they arent in stock and when I said that someone in the store has a 2000 or 2001 Maxima with the grille on it they said that the people in the store only own civics and accords and something else... So i said I think its gus that has it and they said no he has a civic and that was it... then he gave me the number to the actual company and they are the ones that told me that its not coming out for 3 months...

me and my friend made one
for the bottom part of the grill
we just used some chicken wire and painted it white
and used white strap ties , looked good
but i also wanted to do the top part of it
but couldnt figure out how to do it

if you do it yourself it will only cost you about

15 bucks MAX
