Exhaust System Interest?
How many of you guys would be interested in a High quality polished stainless exhaust system if we offered one?
If you say yes, post what kind of style you would want out of teh following options (or post your own style)
An Angled Style Straight-thru Muffler
A sleek stock style muffler
Or you can post one you guys like

The sleek stock style muffler would probably be a big hit with Maxima owners. We love to mod our cars, but many of us prefer to keep the look of our performance modifications tasteful and subdued. I'll be in the market for an exhaust very soon. I'm looking primarily at the Frankencar exhaust (for its subdued look, sound, and price), but I welcome any other choices to the market. More choices = better for the consumers.

The price sounds right, but what about the other stuff? We like the preview of what it could look like, but what will it sound like, and how well will it flow?! WE DEMAND KNOWLEDGE!!! lol

Remus style dual 3" tip muffler would be a hit with the Maxima community. Please no DTM tips or pumpkin shooter coffe cans, EVO Greddy already ruins the look of the car as it is. I'm waiting for my Mossy Performance exhaust- should be here any day now- 1st one ever sold.

i'd go for the stock style, but single tip only - like the one in your picture or something similar to is300. no cans please.

id buy it in a heart beat as long as its not ricey sounding i love the way the frnkencar sounds,.. not loud at all and a nice little growel at WOT if you can match that and go lower on that price, id be sold. a nice 3' single tip would look nice.

I'd also vote for a single tip but i'm kind of digging the 1st pic tho. I'm also in the market for a new cat-back but I don't like the options that are available except Frankencar. If you guys don't come out with something tasteful, i'm going frankencar way.
Also... my cousin was in the market for a cat-back for his IS300. He spent 6 months searching and searching cuz he didn't like the riced out ones. Anyway, he finally got the HKS catback and I must say I was impressed. It doesn't sound ricey at all, it has a very deep growl at higher rpms and a deep tone at lower rpms. Now, i've heard a maxima with HKS muffler and it sounds terrible.
Anyway, i'm in the same boat as him. I want it to be quite at lower rpm (i won't mind a deep tone) and a nice deep growl at higher rpms.
I know I sound pickey but what can I do? I want something tasteful.
If you guys can match it, then you got yourself another customer.

I would be interested in an almost stock dual tip exhaust. The tips would have to be slightly larger in diameter. I would also like for it not to be loud, but have a grumble and get a little loud at around 4500 5000 RPM's, and still provide performance. I know it maybe a long shot but that's my opinion.

Stock style would work well. But It would have to take so much into consideration. youve got performance, noise (NO to the ricer coffee can sound!!!), style, etc etc etc. We all know we're hard to please. Im gearing up to replace my whole stock exhaust system from the intake to the muffler (with the exception of the cat) from Cattman. If he can be outdone on the muffler, then im interested.

i am very interested..the only exhaust system that has my attention is the
frankencar which is nice at low rpms but is heavy as hell. i dont want a exhaust that loses its performance gains because it weighs down the car.
g35 350z sound is great!!...price is major too but weight is a big thing too..at least not more than stock weight..

Brian isnt making them in NZ anymore, as to what he told me. He said it would be less expensive to just move production to the states, thats why hes out of them right now and production wont start up for a while. Contact him for more info about them as the site hasnt been updated for a while, as theyre waiting to totally re-do the site.

Dual 2.5" tips=yes
Subdued sound until WOT=yes
Sound similar to Frankencar=yes
or Sound similar to 350Z=yes
Polished Stainless=yes
Lower price=DEFINATELY

I like my Cattman, quality is really really good on these, just didn't like the price of them. Same quality, same dual 2.5 tips, good price, then you might supercede the community with them
