TCM replaced....wow!
I finally had my TCM replaced today. A few months ago I had the shift solenoids replaced, but the car still felt sluggish and sometimes hung on the 1-2 shift. I made about 5 WOT runs today and everytime it was perfect. The 2-3 shift also seems quicker to me. My car is waaayy out of warranty(94k+), but nissan payed for it under goodwill! If your auto has the slow/hanging shift problem doesnt hurt to go to the dealer and try. Its like driving a whole new car again. Thank you Nissan! There is no way I could afford to replace both those. I thought i was gonna be stuck with a poor shifting tranny for a few years.

I have a similar thing happening but figured it was just part of the experience. About a 1-2 second delay in automatic shift from 1st to 2nd...like it doesn't want to catch. Is replacing TCM good for this? If so, what is normal cost (part+labor)?
