Yeah the guy was drunk!!! I dont have any proof it was him but I was parked for about 7-9 min when I came out he was the only one there and waiting for me to leave... but anyway yeah I took it up with the insurance they said they would fix it.....
only thing I didnt like from what they told me that was the whole body panel of the parts that got scratched arent going to be painted completely they are just going to sand down the scratch and paint over it then clear coat the whole body panel...ughh....The whole car was scratched only things left were the roof and front and rear bumpers oh and the rear driver side door...

ahh the week after I got my DDEs some guy hit my car as he was turning....luckily I saw him int time and swerved to miss getting hit harder than I did. I was going straight and he was turning onto the street I was on from the left side....I swerved to the right just in time and only got my headlight broken and my fender bent in a little...was fixed in 2 days

That's ridiculous, they f*cked up your whole car! You should sue their pants off! I don't see how you can lose with evidence like that. Nothing lines up anymore? Then they better pay to replace some body panels or something.

Similar thing happened to my dad, though not nearly as severe. Two years ago, when his Mustang Cobra was BRAND new (had like 500 miles on the odo), he had it at the dealer so they could replace the instrument cluster because the supercharger boost guage had never worked properly. So, the guy workin on the car has got the driver's door open all the way, and those doors are huge, probably 4+ feet in length. So the very end of the door is sitting over a lift that the car was parked near. Another guy has a car on the lift and starts to raise it up. He realizes a little while later (maybe when the lift started leaning or something) that he was actually picking up my dad's car by the door!!! The lift caught the bottom of the door and just kept raising. So the guy lowers the lift and probably sh*ts himself. The dealer tells my dad they had a little "accident" and shows him the damage. Needless to say he was furious. But luckily they use a really good auto-body that unbent the bottom of the door, fixed the door hinges, and repainted and whatnot, and you honestly can't tell it was ever screwed up in the first place.

Oh well, dealers are *******s. But dropping your car off a lift definitely tops the rest.

That's the good thing about being in AL--no salt to worry about! On the other hand it hails sometimes and rewards the car with a bunch of bumps

I was going to post pics of the tiny paint chips on my hood that are starting to rust... but nothing tops these photos.

I can't believe how sh*tty some people are. I feel like going out to make sure my Max is ok now...

The green Max also got torn up (on page 2)?! Man, you've got about the luck that I have with cars and people stupidly bashing them up! Maybe you should buy a tank or at least some armor plate. Ouch!

Thats the same car. I liked the green but it was too much work keeping it clean, so when I had to repaint the whole car I decided to go with silverstone.

I know it's a Maxima forum, but ...

here's what happens when you get into a close encounter with a fire hydrant afer a deer-avoidance manuever. This was on my 2004 Accord that I sold.

I have a gigantic cursive "L" on my trunk lid. It's not scratched in, but the paint is discolored, like someone drew it with a crayon, or something. It's weird... but it was there when I bought the car. I also have decent chips in my driver-side fender from when my snow-chain broke.

I'll take pictures when I get around to washing my car...
