I've got abt. 5k+ miles on my 6th gen setup, and so far I'm pleased. 
not a dramatic improvement - but I think, as has been stated: more heat dissipation = longer life of the rotors & pads, w/ less material deposit.
Anybody experincing any ABS anomalies??
I have seen my ABS kick-in a bit early on heavy braking scenarios, but nothing to be concerned about....just weird.
Now if I could just get RID of that annoying squeal coming from my REAR brakes!!!!
This upgrade TRULY IS the only cost-effective braking solution for our cars!
Spending $3-5k on racing setups is just plain impractical for a daily driver.
to Irish & everyone else who take the time and effort to post-up mods like this, that benefit us all!

Well, now it seems like my brakes aren't the issue. I'm now leaning towards the wheel hub/bearing as to what's causing the noise. But I will definitely keep this mod in mind for when I have to do brakes in the future! Lots of good info in here!

Hey Irish, I followed the link in the thread about SS lines and it didn't take me to the right thread. I am looking to get new RTP drilled/slotted rotors and pads from AuToMaX_95 and I wanted to know about the SS lines. Would I need the SS lines for the 6th gen to make it for on my 02 SE because I'm looking to get the 6th gen calipers as well with AuToMaX's rotors and pads. Need a little help, thanks!

Due to the upgrades from a mechanical advantage stand point, there should be less pressure in the lines to get the same amount of braking force with the 6th gen calipers. So I would think the stock lines should be fine.

Where did you see or hear that you needed SS lines? Just curious as to what the reasoning would be.

I got the drilled and slotted rotors and this is not my first set. I have never had any problem's with mine cracking. The answer to this is dont buy cheep rotors, I got mine from automax. My car dosent have alot of noise or vibrations. I love it and I wold recomend it to everyone who auto-x's.

After warping my stockers multiple times and rolling over the 100k mark, I decided it was time to upgrade the brakes with the 6th gen's once my pads were gone. I got the rotors slotted from automax and picked up the calipers from car-parts.com for $35 each from an '06 Maxima w/9000 miles on them.
I opted to just use a set of factory pads.
The install was a complete bolt on, the factory '02 17" rims fit without spacers (barely
but they fit). The first test drive was a bit scary, there was a bad vibration in the steering wheel while braking, any speed above 40 mph. I re-inspected my install and torque specs and found the new slotted rotors were way out of specs. I turned them both (both back sides where out-of-round) and re-prepped them. Reinstalled and it test drove great. They feel great and require less initial pressure to start braking.
I also weighed them and found the rotors were both about 5.5 lbs heavier than worn out stockers and the calipers/brackets were around .8 lbs heavier each....so about 6.3 lbs a side heavier, which you can feel a little on accel.

Great!!! How did you like that .040" clearance with that caliper torque member? It's fine...I cruised like that for about 6 months B4 the rims came in.... Should've seen my former "00" with 02-03 front brakes assemblies and 16" Nissan rims. About to touch everywhere, spokes, inside surface of wheel...I'd like to seem someone put 15" wheels on a 02-03 without changing to 00-01 brakes. It's impossible!!!!

Completed 6th gen front brake upgrade on 5.5 gen
Thanks to the info provided by LA02Max, I completed by 6th Gen BBK front brake upgrade this weekend on my 02 max
Bought 2 brand new Posi Quiet '05 "loaded" calipers from Tire Rack. Painted black since I didn't like the zinc coated finish. Bought 2 Centric '05 rotors from Tire Rack - Brembo blanks for 6th gen hard to find. Centrics come pre-painted black on the hub and vented areas. Even though calipers were loaded, during shipping several of the pads came out during shipping so when I installed I had to remove the caliper from the braket (tourqe member). Installation was simple with the exception that one of the TM bolts was very difficult to remove. Had to buy a breaker bar with a 19mm bolt to remove. Other than that, took about 5 hours to complete
