2k2 Side Skirts

Anybody know if the side skirts from a 2K2 Max would fit on a 5th gen? Any sort of modifications necessary, or just direct bolt up?

I think it will bolt right up....don't quote me on it though.....but i don't see any reason why it shouldn't....I do know the front bumper is different but thats about it....

why don't u go for stillen side skirts? they look alot nicer....and it still looks fairly stock if u ask me...jus like the 2k2 skirts....except the 2k2 skirts don't look as aggressive as the stillens

2k2 is a 5th gen, well 5.5 gen, it should fit. Same body, why wouldn't it fit.

The slash guards are a bit different for 2k's and 2k2's, so it may be something you want to investigate a bit further.

You think that would look okay with the stillen sideskirts alone?

i like the side skirt for the 5.5 gen but it cost $978 at the dealership. they called it "ground effects" but ******* that's a lot of beans!!! i like the look of that, and yeah i'm 99% sure it's direct bolt on.

I called the nissan dealership near me a few weeks ago and they told me it was $348 for each side including the screws to mount it in?

Yeah, I like the fact that they look fairly mild. I know of somebody selling a set of 2k2 side skirts, and they're already white too! Don't get me wrong, the Stillens are nice, but for the price I can get them at, I would prefer the stocks. From looking at everyone elses pics (5.5 gen), it doesn't look like the side skirts would extend below the height of the front bumper.....would it? It would also make the front and rear bumper blend in better. It matches how the front and rear bumper have that raised "lip" area near the bottom of the bumpers............ya know what I mean. So, has anybody tried this yet? I'm going to call the dealer on monday. Oh yeah, I almost sh#t in my pants too when I found out the price.

I have them on my car.. they are NOT bolt on.. you wii have to drill holes under and on the sides to install them. I did the bolts under the car but not on the sides. The front Splash Guards are not the same as the 5th Gen... they are design to go over the side skirts. Look at my Sig or go to my Web page for more pics... they are on page 1.. telll me if you like them..... they don't come painted to match your ca 00-01, if you haveIceland Pearl

if you are going to buy them new from the factory, you might as well just get the anniversary kit. I wanted to know the price of each skirt, and Mossy in San Diego wanted $478 each. At least with the AE kit, they are pre-painted to match the 2k 2k1 colors and come with the lips and sideskirts (which are a little bit more agressive than the stock 5.5 gen).

Cool, that's all I needed to know. I can modify them to mount up, and the best part is that they're already color matched. The guy that I may buy them from has a white Max also. Now, all we need to do is come up with a solid price. Thanks again. P.S.-your car is looking sweet!

has anyone esle priced out the AE kit? the front is like $800+, the sides are another $350+ each, and the rear is i think $450+!! ****, for that much you could have the stillen kit installed and painted and have money for lunch afterwards!! i am only wondering how the quality is on the stillen kit??

the quality of the stillen kit is wonderful....its made out of poly ureathurane (however the hell u spell it)....and u can flex, bend it into any shape u want and it will go right back into its original shape once u heat it up in the sun....

i'm not sure what the AE kit is made out of....maybe plastic? dunno....but i know for the stillen kit, it won't crack as easily as fiberglass or plastic....instead it flexes

correct me if i am wrong

I'm not a body kit fan myself. I'm looking at getting these to kind of even out the front and rear bumpers.......ya know what I mean. The body lines will blend together better with the stock 2K2 sides. I'm just waiting on the seller to get back to me with shipping costs. Thanks for all the input!
