I have three words for you. Philips Vision Plus. They are used in europe and are remarkable. A pair will cost you under $40. You can buy them at http://casporttouring.com/. They are better than anything else out there! This article proves it. http://www.hidforum.com/ayh/lumen.php.

Yes this is the one. The bulb is clear, but it has a blue ring just under the tip, so it emits a bit of blue as well. This is the brightest bulb you can get on the market. It is not like those fake blue bulbs you can buy. Read the article to confirm...........http://www.hidforum.com/ayh/lumen.php
middle of the page.........p.s. the price you can't beat either!

My PIAA Xtreme Whites lasted for over 1 1/2 years. Transfered to my other car and they still work. I've only had 1 bulb burn out within 6 months from 5+ sets I've purchased.

How about converting your head lights to the 2k2- 2k3 headlights? The stock bulbs are Phillips 4300k or u can try those Piaa HID super cobalt and then get DDE.

Also make sure you don't slam the hood down when closing the hood, My experience is that when you slam hood, the light filament will brake 50% of the time, due to heavy vribration

I paid 75 locally for my piaa's but they came with lifetime warranty. Any time they burn out free pair at no charge. Figured I couldnt beat that deal. I've had them for over a year and a half and no problems yet!

I am also done with PIAA, not the worst lights but they are way over priced. I have had some problems with how long they last and i have ben very carefull on not tuching the glass while i put them in. Not really bithing about quality as much as price though.

remember that thread in the GD forum with a seller offering the PIAA's for $39.99 shipped? All he did was get flamed. He lives a few minutes away and I bought the lights from him for $35 locally.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=353187

No seller in their right mind is going to advertise online his products for below market value. Hence some sellers like cattman ask you to call when they have good prices on certain products.

I know I'm def goin to change the fog lights because they just plain SUX! but can any tell me if it's really worth just changin the bulbs cuz seems alot of people here aren't happy with Piaa and some are? you will definately get brighter and whiter light out of aftermarket halogens, whichever ones you choose. people have their preferences but you look at all the samples then make up your own mind. many people talk about looks because they like the white light as opposed to the yellowish looking stock bulbs or they want to better match the look of HID's that they might have.

Thanks, I'll do some research and check out which one's are best for me looks and pricewise. I don't have HID's but I could of gotten the converter for 250 but I opt not to get it only because in NYC they love to steel them some HIDs and I'm not having my insurance go any higher.
But thanks again

Hey guys, I have an 03 Maxima SE with those HID Xeon Lights which yes they love to steal them here in NYC. I haven't had any problems with them since I bought the car about two months ago. I knew about some brackets that the dealer could put in to prevent them from getting stolen. I went to the dealer and when I got the car back I lifted up the hood and I couldn't see anything that looked like brackets on the lights and what not. So I went back to ask them where are the brackets and he said that they are under the bumper that they are hidden. So was just curious if anyone knew anything of this or about this? The car still has it's warranty so it was done for free but I'm not sure if it was done or not.

I have PIAA super plasma's and they match my HID's nicely but now both my fog lenses are cracked after I just bought a whole new housing for the passenger side. after I replace the driver side I'm goin to cover them with Laminex protectant and Replace the bulbs with the Umnitza HID's...Then I dont have to worry...

well, from the pic, they look very white and seem to match the PIAA's very well. the pic is a little small though - so what are your impressions since you see these up close? which is brighter/whiter the phillips or the piaa? can't beat the price of the phillips though.
