01-02 CD changer swap?
has anyone swapped out their 00-01 single disk cd-player for an 02-03 6-disk? i am thinking of doing this and am wondering if any fitment issues exist? also, are the electrical connections the same? they should be due to the identical bose speaker setup, but i want to make sure before i spend the $$$ on the 6-disk.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a bose single unit then u can use the 2k2 and 2k3 bose head unit. Its a direct plug and play. The only thing that will not work is the svc. If u dont ahve a bose then u can only use the non bose 2k2 or 2k3 head units. You can not put a bose unit from a 2k2 or 2k3 into a non bose area for direct plug and play

the repair work was done about two months ago and last week i went over a set of train tracks and my left speaker channel cut out again, i had to bang the center console to get it to kick back in.
