my car understeered into a curb...

my car understeered in the rain going about 40, i was going into a turn, not a 90 degree, but merging into traffic, and my car just kept going straight, i couldnt slow down in time and i hit the curb pretty hard, my front drivers side wheel is sitting at an angle now, its bent inwards. now what does a front axle look like? and a lower control arm?
is its easy to fix?
should i take it to the dealers?
any suggestions?

Don't take it to the stealer. Just go to a good mechanic. Save yourself some money. Were you riding on the OEM Potenzas?

yea, these tires suck in the rain. go to the dealer might cover it. if your under 36000 miles. you probably messed up the camber hopefully

HMMMM, I have an inch wider tire than the stock craptenza's and a lower profile. I sail through the rain @ 70-80 mph with no problems. With the craptenza's I was hydroplaning at 50mph. I think Nissan just put those tires on the car to get it to the dealership, Then your car outgrows them on the way home and you have to go buy new ones.

It's hard to know exactly what you screwed up until a mechanic gets in there and takes a good look at it. If you were able to drive it home, it couldn't be that bad.

Chances are you bent the wheel. If the impact was severe enough you may have damaged the strut or at least knocked it out of alignment. First I'd pull off the wheel and look at that. If that is fine then I would have the alignment checked. Thats still cheaper than going to the stealer.
