Added more LED's to my car!! *video* *pics* LOOK!

First project i finished last week, but i was waiting to post untill i finished this second project.

my first project was to remove the dome light, and replace the bulb with TWENTY 15,000 MCD white led's. the project took quite some time, but i looks great! it is extremly bright, and lights up the whole interior with a nice crisp light. the pictures do not do it any justice.

My second project i had just finished tonight, so pics will be up tomorrow. but i did upload a video of it in action! i installed 3 white led's in my fold down sunglass holder. but i did not want to have to wire a button for it, so i made my own homemade switch! with the "door" opens, to contacts conect, and it completes the circuit. here is the video!

Right click me, and save as

detailed pic on this will be posted tomorrow or sunday. but for now, here are some pics of my dome light! (many more pics on my home page! http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/479058/11
)

questions? comments? let me know!!

-Chris

Looks Sick. Do you know where I can get a chart of specified lights for the interior. I would like to go all blue, for dome, map, courtesy, ignition, etc....

I was side tracked by these two projects. besides, it didn't seem like there was much of an intrest for the map lights, so it was put on the "back burner" i have another shipment of leds comming to me, so once i get that, i will continue that project.

THANKS FOR ALL THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK EVERYONE!!! I APPRECIATE IT!

Thanks Herby! No prob for yesterday, make sure you let me know how the install goes! sounds like you got some good leds, make sure you get the correct resistors for them, if they didn't come with your order.

still can't get over the automatic rear window shade! i'm going to have to figure out a way to make that working in my car. lol.

Those are sweet. Now does anyone have any idea how to change or color the LED within the automatic shifter?

The LEDs actually came with the resistors. They were really inexpensive on ebay.
Paradox has the rear privacy shade for 95-99 maximas, not sure how well it would fit.......what? did I hear fiberglass project?

it's not that hard, just look to see where the bulb gets the power from and find otu which one is + and which one is - either with a voltmeter or just trial and error
