Throttle body replacement???

Has anyone had their throttle body replaced on an 02-03 Maxima? I ask because I just got a bunch of codes pulled pointing to a faulty throttle body...i.e. P1122, P0507, P0221, P0223, & P1124. Is it unusual for this to happen on and 02 Max so early? Right now the car is running a high idle around 900 but drives fine. I'm hoping that I just got a bad throttle body and doesn't happen again on a new one cuz I can't figure out why it would crap out on me in the first place. Oh, my warranty is out...~43,500mi. Thanks for any help or suggestions guys.

It's either your TPS sensor or your Throttle Control Motor Relay/15A fuse is blown.

MY bet is you blew the fuse or messed up a wire connection during your nitrous activation switch install. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hlight=nitrous

You really should post *ALL* relevant info for the best help next time.

I don't have the EL-section of the 2K2+ FSM to show me where that fuse is exactly, but that 15A fuse is #63 with a white/red wire going to your Throttle Control Motor Relay which is in front/next to the battery. Looks like a smaller type, 3rd one towards the drivers side closest to the battery. It's next to the "Park/Neutral position" relay, which should be labeled.

Good luck.

Really appreciate the help. Thanks. I've checked that throttle control fuse and it's still good. This sucks! TPS might have went down the tubes.

How do you wire the WOT activation switch for NX kits especially on drive-by-wire cars?

The NX kit comes with a WOT microswitch that is installed under the gas pedal. All you have to do is mount the switch so that when you step on the pedal for WOT the microswitch is engaged. However, I opted not to do this. I wonder if this could have been the reason why my throttle body could have gone bad. I did make sure the the engine was running over 3K rpm before hitting the nitrous button though.

Anyone know how much a new throttle body will cost me? Anyone have
Dave B.'s info? Thanks.
