Handeling

My car is in need of some new tires, but i don't have 600 dollars to spend right now so i'm kind of running on my old ones. In a mean while what other things are out there that can improve my handeling of the car. How bout that strut bar for 30 bucks does it work or is it waste of money. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks

These. I would recommend them for close to half the price of comparable major brands. Those suckers just do not hydroplane.... Oh how i've tried..

I like the continental extreem contacts. I've had them for about 6 months and like them alot. See ratings and descriptions here. As a matter of fact Tire Rack is probably the best place to compare tires.

Try Ebay with the size ya need. I just picked up 2 new SP9000 Dunlop 255-40-17s for my Max for 230 bux shipped. Now I'm trying to hunt down another 2, I reather not spend 1000 bux on tires.

I have a set of ES 100's too - they grip and wear great - dry. They sound like snow tires but have the least traction in snow I have ever experienced (in 40 years driving) - southern or summer only!
RSB and FSTB are great bang for the buck!

um....no.
if your tires are worn, get new tires FIRST. The RSB and FTSB will do you no good if you go flying off a wet road because of worn tires.

so, get tires first.
then, get a RSB (which is much more of an improvement than the FSTB)...you don't feel the FSTB all that much. You definitely will notice the RSB.

My first mod when attempting to improve my handeling was to upgrade to Water Music and then Concerto No. 4 in F Major, preferably for organ. Very smooth, powerful ride thereafter

Those mods won't do anything to help your stopping distance.

try out avon tech tires at the tire rack. They've gotten all good reviews by everyone that ever got them and they are $130 a piece for 225/45/18's. Nice thing is that they are all season high performance, so if it snows or rains alot in your area then your covered

I got a set of Falken 235s for a great price without realizing that they will not go on my OME 17” rims which are 7” wide. I have to get rims 7.5 or 8” wide.

bunch of people run 235s on their OEM 17"s. I don't recommend it but many people have done it w/out problems.
