I'm not hating on that Maxima. Rather, it seems that its more of a show car than a functional one. Even so, it's not the direction I'd go in. I've seens other modded/customized Maximas MUCH MORE to my liking on Cardomain.

But to each his own.

Peace.

LOL.. if you wanted performance, you would have went with a better platform in the first place.

I was wanting to go performance, but i cannot deny it anymore.

My maxima is a JAPANESE CADDILLAC. goes fast in the straight, but in the corner, well... needs tons of work.

i miss my suspension setup. my moms i30 is a boat compared to my H&R setup on my max. but maximas do need work on suspension so that is why i am planning on illuminas and strutbars and sway bars but springs are a huge difference already. and the performance part of my car is going to be there when the swap is done.

I do have springs, i have H&R's. And yes its a vast improvement over stock. But when i drove an 03 accord or the 03 altima (rentals), my H&R equipped maxima doesnt even compare.

kinda hard to believe that a stock a suspension handels better than aftermarket. do you have only springs? i do and i drove those cars stock and my car handled way better. and people keep telling me that with aftermarket shocks, it will handle even better. so i dont see how a 03 altima would handle beeter than a max or even a accorn.

Here's the story, i had a 2k2 for 7 months, ALL STOCK, drove that around then crashed the POS. Then i had a rental accord 2k3 for 3 days and then returned it for a 2.5S altima which i drove for one month and beat it down pretty good. THen i picked up my 2k3, and almost immedicately installed the H&Rs and yes it was a vast improvement over stock, but honestly, STOCK can be better than aftermarket.

My gf has a mazda 3 and that thing STOCK would BURY my maxima with H&R's and stock struts. I rode in my buds 2k3 with Illumna's and TEINS and RSB, and still i think i would outhandle his *** anytime with the 3.

Kind of a sweet Maxima, but it looks like a car they would have on ones of those "future" movies with cars being all over done. I would drive it, but not for what he wants for it.

I admire this car for the amount of work put into it. It would take me a lifetime. BUT Over $35,000 in mods, what? I love the max, but I would step it up, then mod.
