My writeup for the 2002-2003 Cattman Y-pipe. Detailed pics!!!

The Cattman Y-Pipe for the 2002-2003 Nissan Maximas are sweet. It is an exact fit with no problems on the installation. The only thing you have to do is extend the 02 sensor wires which took a little time. I used header wrap to isolate the wires from heat and used hay wire around it. Check it out and let me know what you guys/gals think....

This Y-pipe is da bomb! Sound is unbelievable!

Very cool. Nice job on the writeup and pics. I'm sure many, like myself, really appreciate you being able to stop from actually working on the installation to take pics so the rest of us can learn from your example. Link added to favorites.
Thanks
-Tim

Looks clean. How long did it take you for a complete installation?

Nice write-up, looks like you guys never had your hands full. The sound is nice, with a stock exhaust still retains oem sound and a stab of the throttle up top is very satisfying as well. With my berk and catt ypipe, she screams up top. How much heavier was the stock ypipe than the catt ypipe would you say?

BTW, don't expect any performance gains on the bottom end from the ypipe. It just gives the car longer legs up top.

looks great except for one note....you do know that the O2 wires are held by some zip ties on the upper portion, by the manifold. i disconnected them from where they were held and the O2 reached it's new location easily....no cutting here.

other than that, cool pictures. glad you like it...it is top quality.

Great pics! Another note, you can just dremmel down the existing bolt and use the old nut instead of removing it completely.

I can vouche for that!!! Since getting the Y-pipe, my Max pulls MUCH harder on the highway. EFFORTLESS ACCELERATION!!!
