I don't have a link to a thread, and I don't remember exactly how it is done, but I Think you have to press the tilt Up button, and hold it until you hear a click (few seconds). Then tilt it back down and try to open it. You might not have to tilt it down. I think this should work, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I had to do it.

the tilting button works
its the one that slides (forward & backward) that doesn't work. I can slide it, but nothing happens to the sunroof

If you can tilt it up, take a peek in there and make sure it's not off track. If not, check the fuse?? Oh, and I just wanted to check my sig Peace_

The manual says to hold the tilt down button for more then 4 seconds. (I think) Or you had to keep pressing the tilt down button for more then 4 seconds.

[COLOR=Purple] You just need to reset the sun roof. In order to do this hold down the tilt button for 1 second when the sunroof is closed. After that it should work again.

Isnt the reset procedure in the users manual? It is for a 2002 Ford Focus...I HAVE to believe its in the manual for a Nissan. Someone go check the manual for this guy and quit guessing....

It's in the manual. But people would have to open and look for it.

Lol, I read the manual before posting the reply. I had to do the same thing in my car this past weekend.
