IIRC this supercharger was "in development" 2 years ago but the company never came through.

I believe they said that another company had essentially paid them to rebadge whatever product they made. They would not say who at the time. I just checked out their website and it doesn't appear to have changed much since they first showed themselves here.

Here is the link: http://www.alpine-developments.co.za

A FWD Maxima supercharger and RWD 350z would be totally different. I am sure they looked up all the cars with VQ35's and put them there.

Actually they WOULDN'T be all that different, especially if it's an Eaton type blower which i'm willing to bet it is. Anyone got any guesses as to which third party company licensed them to build it? Stillen perhaps?

I think the SC placement gets tricky when you have to deal with a East/West placement vs North/South of the engines.

Not really, tranverse or logitudinal, you only have to worry about the intake piping and clearance for the belts and compressor on a centrifugal unit. Certainly nothing like the problems you'd have with a turbo.

But regardless, I was talking about an Eaton blower, which mounts on or directly replaces the intake manifold, doesn't matter which way the engine is pointing as long as you got hood clearance

I emailed them along time ago about that specific question fearing that they may be building for Stillen. They replied and assured me it was not being built for Stillen but they could not reveal the third party. From reading all the threads on www.my350z.com it seems the the party is a company called DreamWorkes.
