SSR's 3.5 Turbo Kit **video**
I'm surprised SSR Engineering hasn't posted this yet. It's from Altimas.net.

Ah, what a let down...that was kinda weak. I wish it was a Max for one, and two maybe if it was longer than 15 seconds it would show the power of the car.
Edit: Did anyone else read through that thread on Altimas.net? Many of the members speak of SSR blowing up their Spec V Senta while trying to develop a turbo kit for it. They also are quick to say that they expect the same thing from the 3.5 turbo kit. Anyone else have info on that?

From what I saw in 12 seconds I was impressed. Looks like that thing was fighting for traction in 1st & 2nd gear. It must pull like a raped ape! I would love to see more footage of this car and the turbo Maxima

They do however need to make a clip of the the speedo while on an actual highway run

they never mention the boost under which the video was taken. that's a major factor.

Reason Spec Vs blow up is that the QR25DE engine is really weak, its a decent motor when used in a Altima for just normal driving, but SE-Rs just need to have a SR20 of some kind, it would need to be a VE a DET or a VET to keep up with the SRT4s. Too bad Nissan didn't wanna do that. BTW SR20VET is limited to 280PS in Japan, they make around 315HP on 4 cylinders with almost no lag. And My G20 with a SR20DET spins tires worse than this SSR kited Altima for 1/10 the price.... it might be a quality looking kit. But I for one reather turbocharge a SR20 than a VQ any day of the week- owned 5 of em so far. I am not a VQ hatter I just think its nothing like a much stronger SR.
