Is my trunk leaking??

Today I was cleanig out my trunk and noticed when I lifted up the carpet there is about an inch or so of water in the spare tire well. The carpet pad is also soaked. It does rain a lot here but this has never happened before. Anyone know what could be causing this??

mine did this as well what i figured out after resealing the taillights 3 times is that the inside piece that the taillights mount to (in between the tailight and the trink lid) bent slightly when i installed them. So i just took out the tail light and pulled out on the piece a little and reinstalled the light and the leak stopped. It also helps if you can pour water over the lights and see where it comes in at.

Hope this helps
