Reset ECU after installing exhaust?

Reset ECU after installing exhaust?
Is it necessary/recommend to reset the ECU (unplug the '-' (negative) battery cable for a few minutes) after installing an exhaust?
I know it is recommended for an intake.
Just want to make sure - although I doubt it would hurt.

Resetting the ECU only clears stored error codes, it does not erase or reset stored operating parameters.
The ECU will immediately learn and adjust for any performance mods you install by looking at MAF (air flow) readings and O2 sensors.
