Ok, here's the problem that has just started happening the past few days; as soon as I get the car above 50 mph, it starts shaking. It doesn't shake really hard, but it feels like the car is repeatedly hitting joints in the cement like 8 times a second, so it gets pretty annoying and bouncy. Anyone have a similar problem, or know what could cause this??

Maybe your tires are out of balance?
Check tire pressure as well.

does it feel like the whole car is vibrating? what noises acompany the shaking? if it sounds like helicopter gunships swarming in your cabin, your tire may be loose. check the lugnuts and inflation

Snow stuck on inside of rims makes them out of balance.

mine does that too sometimes....it goes away after a while of driving...kinda annoying. Could it be the parking brake not being released all the way?

YES i had the exact same problem. Just take it to a high pressure wash and get the snow out if u have it in the rims.

Thanks for the replies guys. Turns out the snow was the problem, I'm only 21 and I've never dealt with this before because the last few years have been so mild. But daaaaaaaaamn, -20F about 5 days ago, then almost a foot of snow, and back below 0F again!

you live in Minnesota and it's been MILD the last few years...I've never heard Minnesota and Mild and Winter all used together before

Yeah, well when you are used to sub-zero temeratures for months at a time, a couple winters where it barely dips below zero at all is paradise. But we are sure paying for it this year.

Snow is the problem. I had the same problem few weeks back.

I was playing the E-brake game in a empty parking lot filled with snow, and got plenty of snow stuck between the fender and the tire......I was like wtf at first when my steering wheel start to shake as I reach 50MPH. I thought I need a alignment or something, turns out to be snows.

I just went into a car wash and all that warm water washed all the snow away.
