3.5 HotShot Header pics.

This pic is from the prototype that was completed yesterday. This is also a pre-production header. All of the production headers will be ceramic coated and look beautiful. HotShot told us first to second week of January and they are right on. We should be getting our shipment in before too long. These should make better power since HS uses a longer-tube design that Stillen.

Pricing should be below $600. There will only be one version available and that will bolt onto the cat.

Couple of questions. How is it that Stillin was able to use the same headers on both the Altima and the Max, but Hotshot has different versions for each car? Also, how come Hotshot only produced one version for us whereas they produced 2 for the Altima? Am I correct in assuming that you have to have bungs welded in after the main cat in order to avoid throwing a CEL?

Why do you guys think that Stillen used the same headers for both the Altima and Max? I also would like to know the answer to the second question.

Stillen was able to use the same design by using shorter length primaries and Hotshot used longer. Clearance between the Altima and the Maxima was different with long tube headers which is why there are different part numbers from Hotshot. Hotshots kits provide everything needed to keep the check engine light off, but I don't know what all they will include yet.

I'll be taking my header off soon, so I can compare a Cattman for a 3.0 to a Hotshot for the 3.5 and I'll let you know.

Less than 600 sounds better than 750 for cattman headers.

Nissan performance mag got 17whp w/ their HotShot header-equipped stick Altima. If we can yield said results for $500 that would be awesome. Any issues w/O2 sensors ??? Approx install time ???
