Maybe you've seen these or not....

I posted this on the tires section, but haven't gotten much response. I've been looking for some wheels for quite some time now. I don't have money to get them just yet, but i think my search is done. These are the SSR GT3's. Funny thing is the SSR website doesn't list them, but tirerack does, have them in satin finish and 19x8.5 so they should fit our cars.
Well my question is......have you seen these before on any 5th Gen? What do you think?

I have not seen any on a 5th gen. It looks nice to me. This thread will surely be moved back to tires.

Hamy has these on his Gray Lustre 2K2...it looks TIGHT. If you've got the $$ for these, get 'em! They're 3 piece, lightweight, they look tight, and they're SSR's!!

I have the SSR GT1s on my 5thgen. The only reason that I didn't go for the GT3s is because I think they will be a b**ch to clean because of all those "rivets" .....especially if you clean your rims yourself and your car never sees a car wash. My GT1s are easy to keep clean.....

They actually aren't particularly light.. IIRC they weigh 23 pounds for the 17x8 and for each inch you go up, the weight increases by 1 pound more or less. They are really good looking IMO, and are amazing on the g35c.

SterlingMist00 your car was the first time i had seen the GT1's.....that's what started the "indepth" search. Nice!

Thanks..........just keep in mind that the GT1s are cheaper, easier to keep clean and only 19 pounds in 18x8 trim.....

I like the Competition and the GT1, but the GT3 is in a class of it's own!

I think I like the GT1 style a bit more. I don't feel like spending my whole Saturday trying to clean those GT3's. They are sharp, I'll give you that.

The gt3 wheel looks great. How much are they? With one of those
wheel detailing brushes they should not be all that hard to clean.

I priced a set of 19x8.5 on tirerack.com with the least expensive set of tires. Shipped to Orlando ($87 shipping - cheapest they offered) and it came out to about $3,500.00 !!!

Yea....i'm going to keep each rim was about $600

yea SSRs are costly. I didn't even think about getting 19" SSRs. $3500 is alot for rims and tires IMO.

$3500 is a lot of paper. I could make a lot of car notes with that.
