Well (pause) I'll just say, dont come to NJ. It's the same crap here. We need to import some cougars or something here; these things need some natural predators to keep their numbers in check. (Damn stray pitbulls only attack people around here....j/k)

There sketchers there my lazy shoes. No I didn't get no vennison I got out of my car to look at the damage and the deer got up all twitchy and took off. Yeah I consider myself lucky it could of been worse. I am going to get my estimate tommorrow. The 2k2 is completely shattered and the only thing right now holding it in is the fender pin and clear tape. Unfourtantly at this time I only have liability on the car so it's all coming out of pocket. Gee this happens just as I just was going to switch to full coverage.

It will all be fixed in due time. Yeah I am very lucky that it happened that way. This makes 2 years in a row on that side. First time I slide into a curb doing about 35mph wheel was facing the curb hit the curb pushed wheel to back part of fender and bent lower A-arm, wheel bearing, and strut. that was $1,000.00 worth of damage. Now this deer killed the fender.

i have the invoice back at school but the major stuff i can remember is, both air bags, both headlights, hood, bumper i think, both fenders, radiator, air box, engine cover, seat belts and mechanisms, AC condenser, basically everything in the front 1/3 of the egine bay, and paint. the invoice is about 3 or 4 full pages of replacement parts. total was $11,985 i believe. i feel like you got a better deal in gerneal than i did. but also i have the infamous Northern VA inflated prices going against me.

it was a typical-sized deer as far as i could tell. not a baby but not a huge buck. the windshield obviously isnt broken because the deer didnt hit the windshield.

Between this and lyme disease, I say increase hunting season to 365 days per year.

consider urselves lucky guys.. freakin deer are evil!! they try to get hit on purpose.. just like those 2 squirrels on that auto insurance commercial.
on my trip to utah all i did was look out for deer on the roads because i know wat kind of damage they can do.
last time i went to traffic school the driving educator was telling us about deer insurance. i'd suggest it if i lived in an area with many deer. he also told us how his uncle survived vietnam but died in a car accident when he hit a deer.. a very sad way to go...
