mesh grill question

I am told when about to purchase a mesh grill for my 2k that i HAVE to cut away the old grill in order for the new one to fit in properly.....but i also know of a few people here that have found ways to install the new mesh grill over the factory one without having to cut it....anyone here know how thats done?

and what color grill do u folks think would look the best with a grey lustre maxima......im thinking gloss black, flat black, or flat grey?.....thanks

Street scene's website is at:
http://www.streetsceneeq.com/product_list.asp?mi=5

I put a post in a few days ago about this, just scroll back a bit and it should be there. I contacted Screet Scene about where to get the grills and there's a list there. Good luck!
