CHAZMAX

Well, over the weekend I was cleaning out the house a little and came across some old Car & Driver mag's. Some really old. Anyway, I started looking at 1/4 times and was surprised at some of the cars that the Max was comparable to now. Granted this was SOME YEARS AGO.

Yeah, it is amazing how far the auto industry HAS come is squeezing performance out of engines.

I am often reminded of a few car commentaries that have had people who long for the late '60s muscle cars actually look at their numbers to find out more modern 'mainstream' cars can do just as well, if not better AND have more comfort and convenience as well.

Its sad that I owned both of these cars,and blew them both up My RX7 I paid $2500 for and drove for a year and a half. The 91' SAAB,which was by far one of my favorite cars, I paid only $600 for at an auction and drove that for a year.

I miss those cars,....But I still love my Max.
