Went from Maxspeeds to Teins

It definately closed up my wheel gap. Ride is a little firmer but tollerable.

Maximadave, what is the ride difference like. We have some serious potholes in Raleigh and I can't afford a stiffer ride than what I have now.

The Tein drop is bueatimous. I must resist the urge... Please give me negative feedback about the springs to fight my addictions.

Some of the roads out here in Cali suck big time, especially when you go over bridges and the road is uneven you can definately feel it. The ride is firm, yes but to me its tollerable. I really like it compared to my Maxspeeds. Sorry, nothing negative

i wish i could say it looks nice, and i'm sure it does, but i guess i'm just so used to my drop that even the teins look 4x4 to me.

it looks great (IMO).

I have modded kyb agx and eibachs, i have worse wheel gap (an uneven one).

The questions are, do you enjoy the ride, and feel it was a succesful upgrade?

PoLo-For a max w/o a body kit even with the Teins it could still stand to go another .5" lower IMO, but for mine since I have the body kit, well its about as low as I can go w/o scratching anything Rob Van Dam's ride with the GC's is exactly .5" lower then mine and hes had some clearance problems, I havnt had any yet even with the Teins. Just need to keep away from parking blocks thats all.

Btw-what coilover do you have?

I about got stuck in my gf's driveway last night. B/C of a car parked on the road I couldn't go at the agle needed too clear my b pipe. It hangs lower than normal and all I got was crunching/scraping sound and almost got hung up. Lucky I got off and had too park on the street

I usually go over normal speed bump head on and never had a problem Even with 5 hugh people in the car and the rear wheels tucking I didnt bottom out, not on bumps. Driveways I still take at an angle depending on how steep it is. Once and only once my b-pipe touched but that was my fauly, I went over those big @ss speed humps which is like 5ft wide speed bump and took it head on. Other then that just curbs but I try to aviod those

How come you have 16"s on there? No offense, but don't you think it looks kinda weird completely slammed on stock 16"s? Again, no offense, just curious.

Damn thats low, I think thats exactly what RobVanDams ride sits at. Mine is at 25.25" in the front and 25.5" in the rear and the bodykit makes it look even lower so Im just fine with it the way it is

Besides, 19's will fill what little is left of the gap

Hey dave....what do you want for the Maxspeeds...i live in Oceanside, so if your selling them, maybe we could meet up or something.

currently my cars crashed up, but when it comes out i still intend on lowering it. so if your selling em, let me know.

I have teins with a stillen aero kit. Gotta be careful not to bottom the lip out. Also the ride is significantly rougher than H&Rs. Anyone who says Tein/GR2 combo is not rough is straight up lying or have the smoothest streets around. Get ready for some spine tingling adventures when you hit some bumps especially on 18's+

Wonder why ur front end doesn't look as slammed as mine??? I like the way ur sits better... I wish mine was a 2" drop in front... Plus I think my springs settled more in the front then back... The back looks like it never dropped since I put them on.. I have about 5000 mile on them....
