Install Homelink Visor in 2K GXE?

I haven't seen anyone try this so don't know whether it can be done. Is it possible to replace the GXE visor with one that has the homelink garage door opener in it? I assume there'd have to be some wiring done also.

Re: Install Homelink Visor in 2K GXE?

Should be pretty simple. All the electronics for it are stored inside the visor itself. Never done it but that's what Homelink told me when I called them up...

I'm sure it's possible. Just use the wiring that powers light in the mirror.

Excellent suggestion. I never thought of that.
