Hmmm...old people. Thanks. Well I'm 40 now and have been driving modded Maxes since 1989. After I got rid of my modded 89 and got my 03 SE, I swore I wouldn't touch it. I thought that "I was too old for this stuff". Go figure, as you can see by my sig, my modding addiction is stronger than ever. Oh well, I guess I'll be the grand-pop of the boards.

One of my mom's customers said tha same damn thing to me. She's like oh, pretty car, nice wheels. I was like, this better not become an old poeple car.

when I first got my 3rd gen, my insurance agent told me that I was somewhat lucky because even though the maxima's rates were somewhat high, he said that its target market is 26-45 year old males. Its cool though, Its a damn good car, very sporty, and if your wife wont let you have a 2 door sports car, its the best replacement you could buy.

I am 25 now, and the first car i chose was the maxima, despite everybody asking me WHY?

SIMPLE ANSWER TO THIS:
1. I like four doors
2. VQ35DE 255hp and a 6 speed who could ask for more
3. Stock 1/4 miles in the low 14's
4. Has a bit of luxury to it so it isn't a total rice rocket
5. Its unique
6. HID's
7. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the price.. for what you get, there is absolutely no car that can compare!!

I find Maximas to be owned by people under 50. A lot of youth in the Max. I think the Max owner is at least 10 years younger than a Camry or Accord. Nissan should be happy with the demographics.

The 6th gen will push the age up as it's just too damn expensive. The youth can't afford it. And old people tend to like ugly cars.

seeing the looks on people's faces was priceless as they walked by and stopped and went back to look in the back seat
Two baby seats in the back of mine also. Haven't been to the track yet but that's an awesome idea.
