headlight covers...

Hey, does anyone have headlight covers for their 5th gen max? I heard they didn't make them, but I found them online. If anyone has them on theirs, I am wondering how they fit. I hope they attach like the 3rd gens. Also, does anyone have a pic of their max with the covers?...or know a place on the web where I can see a 5th gen with them on? Just curious as to how they look before I buy...thanks in advance.

I had em on my car for a while. I'm not using them anymore tho, Ive always had mixed feelings about how they looked and got different opinons from people but ive decided to go without them now and get some AE headlights or save up for some 2k2 HIDs. I had the ones made by Auto Ventshade and they went on and off real easy adn were a good fit. At night no light shines through with em on so i always had to take em off so that was kinda a pain. Check out my homepage to see more pics but heres one:

Hey, scmaxima2k, your car looks nice!!! Is the color of those covers "dark smoke" by Ventshade? I like the look of them. I had them on my black 3rd gen, I just hope they look as good on my silver 5th gen...

I had them on my 3rd gen also and I also agree that driving at night was a pain in the a$$ to say the least....always had to open the hood, pull em off, throw em in the trunk and close the hood.. after a while, I just stopped putting them on and then one day I made the mistake of letting my mother drive the car, she took it to the car wash and they got broken by the brush inside the wash....

I'll never buy em again!

I think that depends on the style of car they're on, IMHO. Some cars they look stylish on, some they don't...but everyone's got a preference!

Don't do it

Just my opinion but blackouts are so early 90's and highschool'ish, when you see em on mom/dads mini van in surbibia you know its time to find a new fad! JMO!
