These are the printed numbers that Nissan says they are. Hopefully, these will help you out.

As it was said, those are the Nissan 'published' figures. Would you like to know the real numbers for the 2002 and 2003?

Well, I am wondering if it is true what people say that the horsepower on 5th ge. is lss than Nissan says it is. I know a lawyer who is investigating claims that Nissan mistated its horsepower...he can be reached at consumerlawyer2003@hotmail.com. Do you think this holds some water or not?

Things are not looking good for nissan

First its the paint chips
Then theres the Hesitation (lack of power)
And now the horsepower?

Nissan, you did good with the early 5 gens (00,01) (besides the paint chips) whats going on?

Please observe the previous statements.

Hp is indeed overrated but the torque is underrated by the same margin.

The hesitaion has been fixed as a TSB with a ECU software upgrade.

The paint does suck donkey balls and thats probably the biggest thign that will bite them in the ass.

Then here comes another question.

What kind of dyno's are these knuckleheads @nissan using?

And damn if we had 240 hp, this would mean that the new accord would give us a race. If i was to lose to an accord I would go nuts. (i hate hondas)

I don't see '03 sedan AV6's running 14.7's stock like some of the '02+ Max's do (autos only ). They hit 15.0-15.1 so far...
