Muffler Installation Questions

Muffler Installation Questions
I just ordered a replacement muffler for my 2K2. The questions are:
What supplies do I need to install a 5th gen replacement muffler?
How difficult is the installation?
What would be the approx. cost to get it done at a muffler shop?
Thanks for the help.

If you ordered a performance one, the cost would be around $50-70. I got my done at meineke for $70. Their service is pretty fast.

I ordered a powetech with dual 4.5 tips. So you paid 70 bucks? Is this an install I could do myself if I so desired?

BTW ... DO NOT replace the resonator with a straight pipe. It's gonna be really really loud ... I learned my lesson the hard .. i mean expensive way ..

I didn't want the resonator replaced, just the muffler. I think Kloogy is the one who has the muffler and I liked the sound clip and look. I think maybe Igor has it also. I'll talk to the guy at my local muffler place and see what's up.

The only difference between the 4th and 5th gen is that the neck on the muffler is longer, it connects just forward of the axle not behind like the 4th Gen. The hangars are even the same.
