My service engine light came on and I went to autozone to get the ecu read, aparently i'm leaking gas vapors somewhere. does anyone know what this might be? my car has about 58k miles on it so i'm taking it in tomorrow... I'm hoping whatever is causing it will be covered under powertrain

I believe thats the gross evap leak code.. P0455 or something close. In most cases it was just a loose gas cap but they should still pressurize the evap system and check for a pressure drop. It can be a beetch to track down. Don't let them just tell you it was a loose gas cap though, ask to see the result of the pressure test with the consult-II printout. As for the warranty it more than likely is not under the powertrain but rather the emissions which is 3/36 or 3/50 depending on whether its a California car or not.
