question for those that have done the 300zx brake swap

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone who has done the 300zx brake swap been able to install the rotors and calipers without having the rotors machined down? I have read in other threads and Cheston's write-up that people have had to have the radius of the rotor machined downn by between 1-3 mm. Anyone had success without this milling? Also, would any machining shop be able to do the machining job?

Any help you guys can give would be awesome!

No it has to be machined down due to the way the caliper sits and it needs more room. Only way for the room is to mill down the rotor.

Most machine shops should be able to do this.
